Our Ten Best Practices

We powerwash your house to remove all dirt, mildew, cobwebs and excess paint. If your home has excessive mildew (mold), we'll use the mildew-killer concentrate (M-1, Mildex, etc.) at no additional cost.

We always protect your property. We mask the ground surfaces, floors, cars, plants, windows and other valuable belongings.

Our detailed preparation includes: scraping; sanding; removal of old caulk and putty; removal of loose, chipping and flaking paint and primers.

The most important factor before applying the top-coat, we always complete the following: spot-prime all bare surfaces; fill all cracks; caulk and prime again. This way we encapsulate the filler to avoid cracking. Larger cracks are treated with the waterproofing-caulking system and/or 2-part Bondo epoxy system.

We prepare all eaves, rafters, trim, and wooden siding before the oil-based primer. We sand all gutters and downspouts and apply rust-Inhibitive, oil-Based primer to avoid further rusting and assure best adhesion.

We always use the highest quality, long-lasting oil finishes. And we'll help you choose the right accent color--free of charge, of course.

We brush, roll and spray, using state-of-the-art spray equipment. We use top-shelf Kelly-Moore paints and primers and Thermoshield (underline Thermoshield, so it links to the article -- after I send it to you.) heat-reflective, water-proof coating.

After finishing the job, we clean up your property, removing all chips, tape, and masking material.

We back up our professional work with a written 5-year warranty. When we waterproof your house using the Kelly-Moore Waterproofing System (1128 or 1129), we increase your warranty for up to 15 years.
